Changes

Changes take place in life.

The mind explored further when the faith weakened.

A once good old friend walked past like a stranger.

Dear ones departed, the busy we blamed time for being merciless.

You forgot the ex’s name. and how he looked like.

We go on board sailing far for a hope to be with love one.

And yet, Love one could turn around anytime, leaving a soring heart.

Time heals us then. We cherish the hardship, say it’s a blessing.

Or we could be the ones who hurt. Putting on damages that seem unrepairable.

What was painful once could turn numb.

What was once numb, could agonize.

We choose to be, or not to be. We determine, or we change.
Sometimes we beg for a better change, sometimes we’re afraid. We resist changes. But still, things change. The most permanent thing seems to be changes itself. Along the way we have laughters and tears, which fade away like people who come and go, seasons that change and recur. We always know that we need a rest, but never really so. ’till one day, the most important day in life, where we just have to let go, of all things - changed and unchanged.

One day, you grow back like a Starfish.
